Introductory and Orientation Period

SOWI STEOP+

The social science bachelor's programmes Social and Cultural Anthropology, Political Science and Sociology have a shared, interdisciplinary introductory and orientation period (STEOP). In addition (+), two further courses of the basics-module are offered in an interdisciplinary way.

The STEOP+ is intended to give students in their first semester an insight into their bachelor's programme and enable them to assess whether the programme content matches their personal expectations of the bachelor's programme and whether they can meet the requirements for the bachelor's programme.
