Welcome to the SSC for Social Sciences!
The StudiesServiceCenter (SSC), together with the StudiesServiceUnits (StudServSt), is available to students and teachers for all questions relating to their ongoing studies and courses. The StudiesServiceCenter for Social Sciences coordinates the directorates of studies of the individual departments at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Current Information
Opening hours of the SSC Social Sciences:
Tuesday, 10am to 12pm and Thursday, 2pm to 4pm.
Master's theses are submitted online via u:space.
You then send the upload confirmation to the SSC by e-mail.
Please leave the two printed copies at the porter's desk at the NIG (main entrance, ground floor).
You will receive graduation documents with an official electronic signature via e-mail to your student e-mail address.
Hand-signed graduation documents can be picked up at the SSC Social Sciences
(after notification by e-mail).

Directors of Studies (SPLs)
Direct contact with the SPLs is only necessary in very few cases during everyday studies.
The directors of studies are responsible, among other things, for planning the range of courses offered, for expertise- and subject-related decisions and chairing examination committees.
